Ferretti F720 — Automation System Retrofit
The existing automation system on the Ferretti F720 was completely removed and replaced with new-generation certified control modules. All systems — including engine monitoring, air conditioning, tank levels, navigation equipment and battery management — were migrated to the new platform.
Along with the hardware, the user interface and control software were redesigned from scratch. The new graphical interface was simplified so that the crew can read and manage the systems faster, and all screens now share a single visual language.
Central Home Screen
One-touch access to every system — including AC, galley, tanks and engine monitoring — from an overview of the vessel.
Watermaker Control
The watermaker’s pressure status is monitored, and start, stop, reset and auto-flush commands are issued from a single screen.
Navigation Equipment Control
On/off control and status tracking of navigation equipment such as the flybridge plotter, VHF, autopilot, radar, steering gear and doors on a single panel.
Battery and Charging Management
Port and starboard battery chargers, alternator currents and battery voltages are monitored individually and in real time.
Tank Levels and Bilge Map
Fuel, fresh water, grey water and black water levels are combined in one view with the location of the bilge pumps throughout the vessel.
Chiller Air-Conditioning Control
Compressor currents, inlet/outlet water temperatures and circulation pump status are managed centrally.
Engine Monitoring Panel
Engine temperature, oil pressure, RPM, trim tab angle and fuel consumption are displayed together on one screen.
